Writer's Notes: And this story has spawned hundreds of variations...

Writer's Notes: Depending on where you live, you might know the story with different characters, different names... but it's always pretty much the same...

Writer's Notes: Anyway, for decades people played games to summon her...

Writer's Notes: You know... performing rituals to call her spirit.

Writer's Notes: And these summoning rituals could be different depending on which version of the legend you heard...

Writer's Notes: But in this case, I know exactly where it started and how the ritual works...

Writer's Notes: All you had to do was say her name three times in front of a mirror, in the dark, with a single candle.

Writer's Notes: They said if you were the reincarnation of her husband... she would take revenge.
