Laura: Good morning 😊 I was so happy you came back early. I hate sleeping alone

Klaus: What do you mean 'came back early'? I'm still in Berlin, Laura. Got a meeting in half an hour

Laura: Klaus, I heard you come in last night. Must have been around 2 AM. The door woke me up

Klaus: Laura, that wasn't me. I didn't move an inch tonight. The hotel has a key card log — I had dinner here yesterday with Weber and Hoffmann

Laura: Well, someone came in — I heard footsteps in the hallway and everything

Klaus: Laura. Listen to me carefully. Where are you right now?

Laura: At home, where else. Having breakfast. Javi — don't make a big deal out of this, it was probably the neighbor upstairs

Laura: The footsteps were in our hallway, not upstairs

Klaus: Are you sure all the doors were locked when you went to sleep?

Laura: Of course. Plus, you made me coffee this morning. It was on the counter when I got up

Klaus: I didn't make you any coffee

Laura: Klaus, stop kidding around — you also kissed me on the neck when you got up...

Klaus: I'm not kidding. Laura, get out of the house right now. Go to your mom's place or anywhere else. Now.

Laura: What are you talking about? There's no one here — you're scaring me

Klaus: Laura. Someone came in last night. Someone who knows where we live and that I wasn't there. Grab your purse and leave.

Laura: I'm gonna have a heart attack — I swear I thought it was you

Klaus: How long have you been up?

Laura: Since about 8 — I had breakfast, hung out in the living room for a while

Klaus: And you haven't seen anyone else in the house at any point?

Laura: No... well, the back bedroom door was slightly open, but I thought you'd left it like that before you left

Klaus: I closed all the doors before I left on Monday
