A journalist and her team document paranormal phenomena in an abandoned town
Emma: Liam, we arrived at Blackwood. The GPS stopped working 5 km from the town. Everything is... too quiet.
Liam: Emma, keep the drone recording. If this is like the legends say, we could capture something unique.
Emma: First, I'm going to explore the abandoned church. Mark and Anne are setting up camp. Did you know that in the 50s, 30 people disappeared here... in a single night?
Liam: Don't stray too far from the group. And check the thermal cameras. Some ghost hunters say there's 'mirror entity' activity here.
Emma: I found something on the altar. A mirror covered with a black cloth. It has... Latin inscriptions. 'Qui videbit, iterum non redibit.'
Liam: Don't touch it! That phrase means 'He who looks will not return.' Look for symbols around it, it could be a warning.
Emma: Too late. The cloth disintegrated when I touched it. The mirror... it's perfect, as if it were placed here yesterday. How is this possib...
Liam: Emma? What happened?
Emma: The mirror broke on its own. The fragments are floating in the air... They're rearranging themselves. Now it shows... another version of the church. And there's someone inside... a woman wearing the same coat as me.
Liam: Get out of there now! THAT is not human!
Emma: I can't move. She's coming out of the mirror. Her eyes are completely black. Liam, she's saying my name...
Liam: Run to the camp! Wake the others!
Emma: The doors are blocked. The woman whispers: 'You've always wanted to run away from yourself. I will set you free.'
Liam: Break a piece of the mirror and use it as a weapon. Mirror entities hate their own material!
Emma: It worked... she backed off. But the fragments cut my arm. The blood... it's not red. It's black and thick. Liam, what's happening to me?
Liam: It's contamination from the other side! Look for holy water in the church. There must be some left.
Emma: I found a jar with liquid. When I poured it on the wound... it burned. But the blood turned red again. The woman in the mirror yells at me: 'Sooner or later, you'll be mine.'
Liam: Go back to the camp. Check on Mark and Anne. If they touched something too...
Emma: Liam... They're not here. The tents are empty, but their backpacks are here. And there are... three sets of footprints leaving the camp. One is from heels... like mine.
Liam: Don't follow them. They could be leading you into a trap. Look for the priest's diary, if the church has archives.
Emma: I found a hidden basement under the altar. There are photos of the victims from the 50s... ALL of them have my face, Liam. How is this possible?
Liam: You're not the first. Those entities clone their victims. Mark and Anne... might not be themselves anymore.
Emma: I hear footsteps above. It's Mark. But... his eyes are glowing in the dark. He says Anne is hurt.
Liam: Ask him to tell you something only the real Mark would know. His phone password, his ex's name... something.
Emma: I asked him about our conversation on the boat in Greece. He said: 'Nothing happened that night.' But... we were never in Greece!
