Camille took a detour to avoid traffic. She's been on the same stretch of road for forty minutes
Sunday, 10:03 PM
Camille: Antoine, I'm running later than I thought. The GPS routed me through a detour to avoid an accident on the A-7.
Antoine: Okay, take it easy. How much longer do you have?
Camille: The GPS says 35 minutes, but I've been driving in circles out here. It's all countryside, no streetlights. There's one stretch that feels like it keeps looping back to the same spot.
Antoine: What town is it?
Camille: I don't know, there are no signs. There's like a chapel or something on the right every time I pass. I mean, I pass the same point. Twice already.
Antoine: That's weird. Put the GPS in satellite mode and check your coordinates.
Camille: 42.584508, 8.839204
Antoine: Camille. Those coordinates are in a remote area south of Cabra. There's no paved road there.
Camille: Well, I'm on pavement. I just passed the chapel again.
Antoine: Third time?
Camille: Yeah.
Antoine: Pull over and call me on the phone. Don't move until we talk.
Camille: I can't stop here, Antoine. There's nothing here, just scrubland. If I stop alone in the middle of nowhere...
Antoine: Then keep going, but turn on your real-time location and share it with me.
Camille: Done.
10:31 PM
Antoine: Camille. Your location hasn't moved in 14 minutes.
Camille: What are you talking about? I'm driving.
Antoine: The dot on the map has been stuck in the exact same spot for 14 minutes. Could the signal have dropped?
Camille: Antoine, I'm moving the car. Right now I can see the chapel on the right again.
Antoine: How many times is that now?
Camille: I don't know, I've lost count.
Antoine: Pull over and wait. I'm coming to get you.
Camille: It'll take you two hours to get here.
