Samuel: what's up

Daniel: a contract, in a box with stuff from when I was eighteen, signed with my name and my signature

Samuel: what kind of contract?

Daniel: legal language but with some really weird stuff. talks about blood ties and surrender of will. take a look

Daniel: zero. I'd have just turned eighteen

Samuel: there are other names on it. you recognize any of them?

Daniel: I looked them up. all real. four people

Samuel: and?

Daniel: one died in a car crash. another fell off scaffolding. the third drowned. the fourth's been in a coma for two years

Samuel: when did the accidents happen

Daniel: between thirty and thirty-one. all of them. always the year right after their thirtieth birthday

Samuel: how old are you now?

Daniel: twenty-nine

Samuel: when do you turn thirty?

Daniel: the 16th of next month

Samuel: is there an address on the contract? any way to reach them?
