Clarice: The boiler takes ten minutes to heat up. The tap water is safe to drink, no worries.

Tom: quick question about the rules

Tom: the bit about leaving the back room door open — is that because of humidity?

Clarice: Yes, dear, it's for the draft. Just leave it open and that's that. 🙂

Tom: I closed the back door because nobody could sleep with all that banging

Tom: I also put a towel underneath to stop the rattling

Clarice: Did you close it?

Tom: yeah, I closed it. is something wrong?

Clarice: How many of you are there?

Tom: four

Clarice: Are you sure?

Tom: four, yeah: me, my brother, and two friends

Clarice: Get outside. All four of you. Right now.

Clarice: And don't go back inside until it's fully daylight.

Tom: Clarice, are you crazy? how are we supposed to go out now? you're seriously scaring me
