Adrien: Mara, this is Adrien Vasco. Welcome to the team. You aced the interview in forty-two minutes; the others before you took four hours.
Mara: Hi, Adrien. Thanks for giving me your direct contact. What time do I start tomorrow?
Adrien: Eight o'clock. Ninth floor. Marta from HR will greet you. You'll be in my office on the twenty-fourth floor by eleven.
Mara: I'll be there.
Adrien: One more thing. The keycard they'll give you tomorrow opens every floor except the fourteenth. Don't push your luck with that door. Some people try during their first month, and it doesn't end well for them.
Mara: Got it.

Mara: In the 11 AM meeting, you mentioned a change in the EMEA org chart. Does that affect Monday's presentation?
Adrien: No impact on Monday. I'll send you the details in writing this afternoon.
Mara: Thanks.
Adrien: In the meeting. The question you asked Marcos about the Q4 forecast. That was the right one.
Mara: No one else had thought to ask it.
Adrien: No, they hadn't.
Wednesday
Mara: The Berlin report has an error in the Q3 projection. I'll send you the corrected version before noon.
Adrien: Good. Run it by Lorena first.
Mara: Already with her.
Mara: Lorena gave it the green light. Berlin has the new numbers.
Adrien: Received.
Adrien: You're still in the building.
Mara: I wanted to get it wrapped up before I left.
Adrien: Good.
Adrien: Good night.
