Lucy: Hi, Carol, can you remind me what time we’re meeting tomorrow to finish the project? 😅 I’m so lost with the schedule.

Jake: Hi… I think you’ve got the wrong number. I’m not Carol.

Lucy: Oh, sorry! My mistake. How embarrassing. 😳 Sorry, that’s what I get for doing things in a rush…

Jake: No worries, it’s fine. I hope you find Mary in time for your project.

Lucy: Thanks, that’s very kind of you. 😅 You know what? It’s strange I didn’t double-check earlier… I already lost study time with this!

Jake: Haha, I get it. I stopped studying a while ago, but time always seems to vanish when you need it. That’s life.

Lucy: Ah, you’re so right… So, do you work? Or do you just do nothing with your life?

Jake: Yeah, I’m a delivery guy. I work for a company delivering packages all around the city. I left school a long time ago… I wasn’t a good student.

Lucy: Oh, that’s interesting! Don’t you go crazy with so many packages and addresses?

Jake: Haha, sometimes, but you get used to it. It’s better than sitting all day, I guess. And better than being stuck in a university chair not understanding anything hahaha. What about you?

Lucy: I’m studying communications. And right now, I should be finishing a project, not wasting time texting a stranger… nothing personal, though!

Jake: Haha, well, good luck with your project. I hope it goes well.

Lucy: Well, first I’ll see if I can get in touch with my friend, and then try to finish the project… but hey, I think not all is lost.

Jake: I’m sure it’s not. Well, I hope you can finish your project and everything goes well for you.
